Sage | Brisbane family photographer

Today we celebrated baby Sage turning one year old - I can't believe how quickly that year went! The last time I saw Sage she was a tiny little newborn (check out her newborn images here), and both her and her older sister Frankie have grown & changed so much since then. I just love having regular clients return back for more photos over the years, they are always my absolute favourite sessions!

If you'd like to book your own family photo session, please contact me and I'll be in touch.

Hayley | Brisbane newborn photographer

This morning I met this gorgeous baby girl, Hayley Rose. At just 12 days old, she has such a big personality already! We captured so many funny little faces - Hayley was especially fond of having her tongue sticking out, even while fast asleep. So cute!

Huge congratulations to parents Rose and Steve on the safe arrival of their precious girl.

Newborn photos are best done while your baby is still small and sleepy, usually under 3 weeks of age. It is essential to book while still pregnant. If you'd like any more information on my newborn sessions, please contact me and I'll be in touch.

Cara | Brisbane maternity photographer

Today I met Cara and Jesse, parents-to-be to their first baby girl. Both were fairly nervous to be in front of the camera, totally out of their comfort zone - but looking at the images below, you'd hardly know!

I absolutely love studio maternity sessions, and we always have so much fun. I can't wait to meet this little babe in a few weeks time!

Maternity sessions are best booked for between approx. 32-36 weeks, depending on your health and the size of your belly. I also have a special offer for both maternity and newborn sessions booked together - contact me to find out more!

Rubie | Brisbane newborn photographer

I recently put a post out to the social media world about potential interest in in-home lifestyle newborn sessions. To say I was flooded with responses is an understatement! I didn't realise just how popular they would be. With my youngest son starting school this year, my many years of raising kids at home has come to an end - which means 2020 is the year I can branch out and focus more on my business, incorporating more travel and step out of my comfort zone (ie. my studio!) a bit more.

Which brings me to my first ever in-home lifestyle newborn photo session. I wasn't expecting it, but it was love at first "click" for me.

Some of you may be wondering, "but what even is a lifestyle newborn session?" If you've ever had a studio photo session before, you'd probably know that it can be quite posed and structured (which isn't necessarily a bad thing!). A lifestyle session is completely different - I aim to capture your family in a very natural and authentic way, with very little structured posing. And the best thing of all, is that it's in your own home, where you're most comfortable and can be yourselves. Your house doesn't have to be huge or fancy or perfectly styled - trust me, my own home isn't either! But I'm very confident in finding small pockets of beautiful light and making magic with my camera.

Take a look below at some images from my first lifestyle newborn session, done in my client's home this morning at Mango Hill. I was honoured to be welcomed inside and share in these precious moments as a loving couple becomes a family of three.

If you're interested in booking your own lifestyle newborn session, please contact me and I'll be in touch. I also offer studio newborn sessions in North Lakes, Qld, and have maternity packages available too.

Stef | Brisbane maternity photographer

Last night I met these beautiful people at the beach for a golden hour maternity photo session. Would you just look at that perfect weather!

Stef is 33 weeks and although I know she doesn't feel it, is positively glowing! The love between these three is so evident, and even though the boys were totally out of their element in front of the camera, we had so much fun - and I think I nailed lots of genuine smiles from them (much to 10yo Eli's disgust, I'm sure! Haha!)

Maternity sessions are best booked for between approx. 32-36 weeks, depending on your health and the size of your belly. I also have a special offer for both maternity and newborn sessions booked together - contact me to find out more!

Bentley | Brisbane newborn photographer

Welcome to the New Year! And a very special welcome to the first newborn for 2020, Bentley. What a most amazing Christmas gift he was to his parents and family.

At three weeks old, Bentley is a super sleeper (during the day) and makes the most adorable squeaks and grunts while asleep. I didn't even get to see his eyes wide open for his newborn photos today!

We first photographed Bentley wearing this gorgeous newborn set from home, in the most divine colour. There are so many beautiful clothing options for boys these days! Then he was swaddled and kept sleeping through while we continued on with individual and family photos.

Huge congratulations to this beautiful family on the safe arrival of their first precious baby boy - just perfection x
