This morning I had the absolute pleasure of meeting baby Patrick, just 8 days old. Born a little more than a week before his due date, Patrick was in a bit of a hurry to enter the world - although judging by his frowns and cranky faces at his photo session today, perhaps life earthside is not quite what he expected!

I used to capture little video snippets throughout my newborn sessions quite frequently, but for one reason or another it dropped off my radar in recent years. Today I decided to practice my video skills for Patrick's newborn session, and although not near perfect, I think it makes for a beautiful addition to this slideshow.
